This watch was a Christmas gift. The styling is great for a tween boy and it looks more expensive than it is. We compared Timex styles for kids against this one. The Roots Kids Canoe Watch won hands down because it resembles a downsized man's sport watch. The Timex watches we looked at were juvenile in appearance and those we did like did not come in "kids" sizes.
